Contacts page Organization/ tags for categorization

I feel the contacts page could be more utilized for follow up/ marketing, on top of just being more finetuned with its organization. I haven't spent a great deal of time with it to be fair but organizing my contacts that imported was cumbersome. Some means of categorizing or archiving customers in to defined boxes for easy locating or reference would be awesome instead of just disappearing in to a long list.

My main point here is it would be cool to "tag" customers by there job type, zip code, the year of their project, pain in the ass don't reach out, referred us or a follow up tag if they mentioned having possible future work. This way checking in with them down the road, this feature could be utilized to target my customers in the "98422" "interior" "referred us" with an email blast to thank them for their referrals but its spring and we want to know if them or their neighbors want to do some exterior work.

This could obviously cross over in to the blasts but it could help create various campaigns for targeted marketing, if the tags were available to build out an email blast I could find tags for every customer for "2024" and send a happy new year email simply thanking them.

Last example: easily find the kind old lady whos name is slipping your mind but you remember her "fence" was done in "2021" in the "98373" zip code because you want to see what stain color you had used!
