Downloaded proposals showing information not in client view

When showing the line item pricing in proposals- when you look at the customer view before sending it shows just the the line item pricing which is fine. Once you hit download proposal on that same proposal it shows all the information used to create the proposal such as sqft pricing- hourly rates ect. I think the customer view and downloaded version should show the same information. If there is a way to fix this please let me know. I also know you can hide the line item pricing and just show quantity but that really just confuses too many clients.
