You can set an expiration date. You can also set a drip that gets sent a few days before the expiration date. We usually set proposals to expire at 30 days from being sent, you can make a new drip to send how you see fit.

Hi Hannah! Proposals do not expire. If you want to set up drip for older proposals you could just created the stage, add the drips, set the guidelines and put the desired proposals in the stage. This would let the system automatically send those messages out.
